Transforming Rehabilitation (TR) reached its 2 year milestone in February 2017. Throughout that period there has been significant changes across the 5 Purple Futures Community Rehabilitation Companies (Merseyside (MERS), Cheshire and Greater Manchester (CGM), West Yorkshire (WY), Humberside, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire (HLNY) and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (HIOW)), including staff restructures, changes in the delivery model as well as implementing a new IT infrastructure.
The changes have extended to the supply chain where there has been significant growth. In 2015 when TR commenced there were 43 externally delivered offender facing contracts across the 5 regions. 2 years later there are now 88 contracts. The new contracts include accommodation support in CGM and MERS delivered by Riverside, Substance Misuse in HIOW which is delivered by Society of St James, BAME Mentoring support in WY delivered by Touchstone and DV and Sex Working in WY and HLNY delivered by TWP. In the last 12 months alone over 14,000 services users have accessed support via the supply chain.
Part of the increase is directly attributed to the success of the Innovation and Grant Fund. The Funds enables Delivery Organisations on TR’s Preferred Provider List to directly apply to a panel to either trial innovative and specialist provision that addresses gaps in services or to apply for funding to run previously successful projects that deliver quality outcomes. To date there have been 51 approved projects equating to £1,295,825 across both funds
If you would like to become a specialist provider on TRs Preferred Provider List please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are particularly looking for providers who can deliver Unpaid Work Placements with Employment support.
