3SC is fast approaching 7 years old and in those 7 years we have achieved an awful lot. Here are some facts on 3SC so far …

 

 

 

 

 

  • 3SC was incorporated on 23rd July 2009.
  • It is a limited liability partnership (LLP).
  • The 3SC concept was influenced by successful initiatives in both Australia and USA.
  • The first 3SC contract was the Future Jobs Fund (FJF). 3SC delivered the largest national contract with over 90% of the delivery platform being Third Sector organisations.
  • Through FJF 3SC provided over 6000 6-month work placements for young people with over 30% remaining in jobs.
  • By 2016 3SC employed 29 staff and has 7 office bases across the UK with HQ centres in both London and Cardiff.

  • National Housing Federation
  • New Charter Housing Trust Ltd
  • QED Foundation Ltd
  • 3SC Chief Executive Officer is Martyn Oliver.
  • 3SC has contract managed over 500 organisations in its delivery of core contracts to date.
  • 3SC has prime status with DWP.
  • 3SC had by March 2015 enabled:
  • 13000 people to find work
  • 2000 disabled people to remain in work
  • 700 young people to secure a better future
  • There are in excess of 3500 organisations represented in the 3SC membership and consortia database.
  • The Manchester office base overlooks both the Old Trafford cricket and football grounds.
  • On 1 Feb 2015 3SC commenced delivery of the Transforming Rehabilitation contract and now manages the performance of 85 contracts delivered through 48 delivery organisations.
  • 3SC manages the administration of the Innovation Panel of the TR programme. In 2015 the Grants and Innovation Fund awarded 11 contracts worth £277M.
