Simply Do is a social venture aimed at providing innovative solutions for startups, micro-businesses and business support organisations in Wales. One of the new and exciting areas of work is the Simply Do Startup programme launching mid-July. This is a startup accelerator for young people (aged between 18 and 24) aimed at equipping them with the mindset, knowledge and experience to plan, build and start successful ventures.

I sometimes reflect on the future landscape of public services. By future I mean long-term or even generational timescales. It seems to me that the accepted demographic shift towards people living longer, plus deepening income inequality and consequent increasing social disadvantage amongst some groups are some of the key risks to public services over this timescale.

As we develop our VCSE sector supply chains for Interserve Justice for the Transforming Rehabilitation competition bids due at the end of June, 3SC is very aware that addressing disability need is an important factor in reducing reoffending.
