3SC is working with the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD), the National Autistic Society (NAS) and Dyslexia Action on an exciting project to improve support for offenders with Learning Disabilities and Difficulties (LDD). The aim of this funding is to assist NOMS in their commitment to improving provision in prison and probation settings, through a programme of work including measures to raise staff awareness and a package of resources to ensure that reasonable adjustments are made for offenders with LDD.

3SC aggregates the strength of the third sector to deliver top quality, customer-focused services. In Transforming Rehabilitation 3SC will be a top-table strategic partner to influence delivery model design, pricing structure and performance management of service delivery. The third sector's innovation and experience alongside the commercial and public sectors' skills will be important to ensure reduced reoffending.
MoJ released a summary of evidence on reducing reoffending, to accompany the Target Operating Model and PQQ, on 19 September. It identifies the strength of available evidence regarding factors that impact on reoffending and desistance.
3SC has been working collaboratively with Community Housing Cymru (CHC) to bring the benefits of Job Growth Wales to the 70 Housing Association members across Wales. 3SC will shortly be placing an exhibition stand at the One Big Housing Unconference in Llandrindod Wells in October for example and hosting a presentation day on the scheme.
