HIOW Delivery Organisation Network meeting and 10 year celebrations!!

This month marks our 10th birthday and we have celebrations taking place across the country. On July 23rd our team in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight hosted their quarterly networking meeting. They were joined by a host of partners and other organisations interested in supporting people to reduce their offending behaviour.

It was great to share good practice and learn about the services of other partner agencies. Emma O’Connor, Volunteering Services Manager from Pact delivered an excellent presentation on the Meet at the Gate service which supports a specific criteria of prisoners during their first few weeks of release. Additionally, there were updates on the future of probation services from Barbara Swyer, the CRC Community Director and of course 3SC took the opportunity to celebrate it’s achievements over the past 10 years and give an overview of the benefits of joining it’s membership scheme.

The networking event is always well attended and the relationships and friendships between those on the supply chain and other service user support agencies is always a joy to lead and be part of. You can’t beat an opportunity to share a piece of cake (or two) and catch up during the tea break. And let’s remember, 3SC is about winning and managing contracts that enable third sector organisations to deliver more of their services to the public sector and there’s no better way to progress this than through networking, sharing opportunities and discussing shared values at these type of events!

I would like to thank the representatives of all the organisations listed below for their continued support and commitment to delivering a professional service across the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight CRC, and of course to those who continue to come along but are not currently part of the supply chain. For those of who have recently joined the 3SC membership scheme we hope you enjoy the many benefits it brings and for those who are still considering….it’s never too late to join us.
