Member’s Spotlight – The Restore Trust
In 2019 The Restore Trust joined 3SC as a member and we’re delighted to be able to take a closer look at what they do.
The Restore Trust were founded in 2009 with the vision of a fair society where socially excluded people are supported to obtain skills, qualifications and employment to build sustainable, independent lives contributing positively to society.
Their expertise centres around clients who have complex needs in relation to homelessness, mental health problems, drug/alcohol dependency and offending behaviour. The Restore Trust prides themselves on a non-judgmental, person-centred approach that builds confidence, motivation and helps to inspire change in their service users’ lives.
Chief Executive, Suzanne Thompsonsaid; “We have chosen to be a member of 3SC as their vision that the needs of people using public services – especially those who are hardest to reach – are best met by experienced, local, passionate and mission-driven organisation aligns to our own organisational values. 3SC understand the important role of the third sector in making an impact in delivering social value outcomes in public sector contracts and can support small VCSE Organisations like the Restore Trust to compete in a very competitive market”.
This is the 10th year of operation for both 3SC and the Restore Trust andwe look forward to another 10 years of social impact, life-changing work and partnership.
