Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards Wales

3SC were delighted to attend the Mental Health and Wellbeing Awards that took place in Cardiff City Hall on the 2nd October.

The Mental Health & Well-being Awards is organised and run by The Ajuda Foundation, a registered Not for Profit Organisation that promotes the positive Mental Health & Wellbeing of individuals, community groups and organisations, across Wales. 3SC were lucky enough to secure a exhibition space at the event and also sponsor the Inspirational Charitable Organisation Award. The winner and finalists for our award were:

Winner – Community Furniture Aid
Silver – Walkfree
Bronze – Advance Brighter Futures

We’d like to congratulate all those who were shortlisted but especially the deserving winner, Community Furniture Aid, a charitable organisation that is family run, relying on a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers in Bridgend County. Their primary mission is to furnish homes entirely for individuals facing various challenges, including those escaping domestic abuse, experiencing homelessness, or silently enduring financial hardship, among others. They gather donated items from the community, often sourced from individuals upgrading their furniture or undergoing house clearances. It was great to meet the Furniture Aid Team and we hope to support them and the other finalist in whatever they do next.
